Christopher Hendricks is in his fourth year with the Hawks. Hendricks
learned to skate at an
early age in Pershing Field. Hendricks scored his first varsity goal in
the Ice House on January 27, 2007 against Demarest High School when he
put in
a rebound. He later assisted on another goal. In his sophomore year,
Hendricks was
tied for 7th on the team in scoring. He scored the first Hawk goal for
the season in the opener against Passaic Valley in Floyd Hall Arena in
Montclair. He had his first multiple point game on January 21 at
Warinanco Rink in Roselle Park against A.L. Johnson Regional. Of the
five goals he scored on the season, two of them were against division
winning DePaul Catholic. Hendricks finished the season as the 6th
highest scorer with 11 points. Last year, Hendricks was named one of the teams alternate captains. He scored his first varsity hat trick against Colonia High School on December 12, 2008 in a game in Pershing Field. He also added an assist in the game for a career high single game record of four points. On January 5, 2009, Hendricks scored against Montclair High School for his sixth goal of the season breaking his old single-season record for goals. On January 26, 2009, Hendricks notched his second career hat trick against River Dell High School in a game at Pershing Field. This also game him double-digets for goals in a season. Hendricks finished the season fourth on the team in scoring with 23 points. For the past three years at Hudson Catholic, Chris Hendricks was a catcher and a pitcher first on Hudson Catholic's freshman baseball team, JV team and last year on the varisty.
