After playing in the Tri-County Ice Hockey League - Hudson/Bergen division last year, Hudson Catholic is back in the NJIHA western division this year. The Hawks had the toughest of seasons last year and will put that all behind them and look forward to a new campaign. The team is led offensivly by senior captain Chris Peterson. Chris is a solid player who can score goals. Chris will look for help from fellow seniors and assistant captains Phil Babich and Sebastian Gonzalez. Look for sophomore Nick Swift and freshmen Brandon Mendez to also light the lamp for the Hawks. The second line will include players like sophomore Christopher Antczak and freshmen Nick Vaccaro. The rest of the offense will be sophomores Josh Asmad, Khadir Lindqvist and Chris Bolger.
Between the pipes will be junior Zach Ottobre. Zach was the backup to Armand Campos (who is a freshmen at LaSalle University) last year. The defense will be include junior Curtiss Korn, sophomore Walter Francis and Stephen Gigante and freshmen Amanda Peterson. Amanda is the first girl to play for Hudson Catholic's varsity hockey team.
Coach Frank McGady is back as varsity head coach and will be assisted by former Bayonne head coach Tim Maset. Coach Anthony Crincoli '05 will also assist the Hawks.

in his high school career

Chris Peterson received a plaque commemorating scoring 100 points in his high school hockey career. It was awarded on February 14, 2011, during the morning assembly at Hudson Catholic. The award was presented by the principal, Sr. Joann Marie Aumand, SCC. Also with him is Athletic Director Mr. Terence Matthews, Coach Frank McGady and Dean of Academics Mr. Philip Gazzale. The plaque was generously donated by Mr. Charles Heger,
father of Hawk hockey players Chris '04 and Erik '08.
