Nicholas Vaccaro is in his first year
with the
Hawks. An experienced travel hockey player, he should
contribute with the offense. With the Hawks, Vaccaro will see time on
the second line. He notched his firsts varsity point on January 19,
2011 when he set up
Chris Peterson for a goal against Newark Eastside at the AmeriHealth
Pavilion in Newark. On January 31, he notched a career high three
assists in a game against Vernon High School at Skylands Rink. He
matched this with another three-assist game on February 18 in a game
against West Orange High School in the Charlie Heger Rink in Pershing
Field marking his 10th point of the season. Vaccaro began youth hockey career with the Bayonne Rangers. He played on their mite and squirt travel teams. In 2006, he moved to the Woodbridge Wolfpack to play on their pee-wee team. This season, he is playing on the Wolfpack Bantam B team which won the NJYHL Bantam B South division. |
